From our dedicated balance centre in Dublin, we are stocked with the latest equipment. We have continued to invest in state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, which helps us to evaluate and diagnose your condition.
Our team of experts are specially trained to operate this machinery safely. They can use it to treat and diagnose issues.
We perform testing of your eye movements with infrared video goggles. This allows us to identify a distinct pattern of eye movements called nystagmus which is essential in identifying signs of vestibular dysfunction.
Smart Equitest
Our computerized balance system measures the amount that you sway and compares it to the average person your age in various conditions including: eyes open, eyes closed, surround moving, surface moving. This allows us to analyze your balance and fall risk, individualize your exercise programme and accurately measure your improvement.
Video head impulse system (vHIT)
The video head impulse measures the reaction of your eye movements to head movements which is called your vestibulo-ocular reflex. This allows us to measure the function of each of the 6 canals in your inner ear to help determine if there are signs of an inner ear problem.
